CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Enhancements at the Sheraton Waikiki include: Their new resort pool is between the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and the Sheraton Waikiki is now complete. The large pool features a water slide, kids play area, interactive fountains and whirlpool; Guests will now also be able to enjoy the new Abhasa Spa and fitness center; Breaking ground in January 2009 will be the hotel's adult only infinity pool with a full service bar - estimated completion date is September 2009; The Diamond Head side of the main lobby is undergoing a fresh enhancement to open up the area and encompass a stunning view of Diamond Head - to be completed in February 2009.
Sheraton Waikiki Resort's Family & Childrens Program The Sheraton Waikiki Resort's Waikiki Keiki Aloha program recenlty added dinner and evening sessions to the daytime activities. At the Sheraton Waikiki Resort, kids are offered snorkeling, kite flying and boogie boarding in the morning, and excursions in the afternoon to places like the Honolulu Zoo, Sea Life Park and the Waikiki Aquarium. In the evening, the youngsters can go on a crab hunt, a hotel scavenger hunt and participate in cultural games. Fees are $30 for a full day or $20 for an individual program.
